Welcome!

For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by other eras. Growing up I read mennonite books, watched Little House on the Prairie, and as a teen became fascinated with the Amish.

As a young girl my mother made me Amish styled dresses, and on a trip back east, bought me my first bonnet. I wore it constantly! As an adult though, the styles of the 1800's and the Amish are not quite...In Style!

When my daughter was born I wanted something cute on her head, but headbands wouldn't stay put. I then decided to try my hand at making a bonnet for her. My first bonnet was a huge success! Not only was it simply adorable, but it stayed on her head well, it was comfortable, and warm too! A little girl in a bonnet is always in style!

Through the years,  I've continued to make bonnets with different fabrics, thicknesses for warmth, and styles. I make my own patterns and would love to share my enjoyment of these bonnets with you and your daughters!
